Don't Mess with the Angry Birds

I swear I didn't steal any eggs... I don't even eat eggs...

I have to protect myself so I made a fort out of pillows.

These Angry Birds are accusing me of stealing their eggs, within a couple of minutes, more came to attack me...

Nah... the Angry Birds aren't really attacking me. I just thought it would be fun to play with these plush toys.

The Results Are In

My doctor called Kim yesterday to tell her about my test result. She finally came to a conclusion as to what is causing me to pee a bit of blood out. Good news is, it's not my protein count that's been causing it. The results show that I have been bitten by a parasite. There are some nasty parasites that causes blood in urine in some dogs when they got bitten.

We were all really surprised when we learn about what causing me to be sick. Believe me when I say this, but, I really don't have any flea or tick problem. I am a very clean dog. Mommy checks me for parasite every once and a while and I usually do not have those. I am a stay-at-home dog. I do go out, but when I do, they always carry me so I won't get dirty. So, I'm really confused and has been asking myself how did a parasite bite me.

Right now I have to take the medicine my doctor prescribed me. It's hard to swallow since it's in tablets. Kim has to shove it down my throat so that I'll swallow it. I'd spit it out again if she didn't do that.

I hope I will get better soon... I hate it because I know there'll be a lot of trips back to the vet since I am sick. *sigh....

Sick Again

I just came home from the vet clinic. I have a vague memory as to what happened to me over there due to extreme fear.

I remember the doctor checked my urine... I remember the painful blood test... I remember a scary looking sick dog, which is irrelevant but I can't block him out of my memory... He's really sick and seem to be going bald. Poor fellow...

The doctor wasn't sure what's causing my pee to have blood in it. Yes, I am a female dog and it's kind of normal for me to sometimes have blood in my urine, but it isn't that time of the year yet!

The doctor said that my protein count was high again. For someone who hasn't even tasted beef yet, I'm pretty much puzzled myself. The doctor said the worst thing.... She said NOT to give me treats as of the moment to see if it's the treats that may be causing my protein count to sky rocket. As sad as this is, I have to obediently follow it.

The doctor also took some blood samples to run some tests. I don't know what the results are yet but I hope it's nothing serious.

When I got home, I was a bit tired. I was a bit sleepy in the car ride home but I didn't sleep in the car.

I'm about to take a nap when I remembered they might have forgotten to take off the cotton ball taped to one of my legs. It's the same leg where they took blood from me. It doesn't hurt anymore so I wish somebody would remove it. But then... Removing it would be a bit painful with all of my fur getting stuck and pulled off from the tape.

Waiting to Dry

Constantly playing with my stuff toys get them dirty. And when it's dirty, people here kind of get disgusted with it. So, they wash it clean again. If you ask me, I don't mind whether it's dirty or clean, all I want is to play with them.

Kim and Jen try so hard to try to hide and take away any of my stuff toy away from me. Because once I see that they got it, I will want to get it back from them. So it's really hard for them to wash any of my toys. They have to be cautious enough to secretly steal them away from me.

As if the stealing part wasn't hard enough, another obstacle come their way when they try to hang it up to dry. They can't just hang it up anyway. Because once I see my toys, I'll want it back. So, they have to sneak it outside so I won't see them.

Once my toys are outside, they still aren't safe. Because when the wind blow towards the door, guess what happens? I'll be able to pick up the scent of my toys. So their sneaking around doesn't exactly pay off since I can smell my toys out.

Here I am trying to reach my toys which are hanging out to dry.

A New "Bed"

When I was a puppy, I had a bed where they thought I'd stay and sleep in during the day. The bed was made out of wicker and was big enough to fit me and all my toys in. The bed didn't last long because I chewed on it. Soon, the basket-like bed fell apart.

I grew up without that bed. If you notice from my other photos, I'm allowed to sit and sleep on the sofa. I know other dogs wouldn't even last a few seconds on a couch because their masters would make them jump off, but not me. They even carry me up to make me stay on the couch.

I don't have any bed or toy chest to keep my toys in. So, usually, all my toys are scattered around the living room. I have 2 or 3 stuffed toys lying around the house, and I also have 2 balls that are probably under the couch now. Kim decided that a good way to keep my toys is getting me a new bed. The bed would serve as a toy chest and also for me to sleep in.

Unfortunately, the dog bed they bought before was out of stock, so, they decided to get me this instead,

Yes, it's a basket, a wicker basket. It's obviously a basket because you can see there's two handles there. They put a cushion in and.... voila! They thought they turned it into a bed. Sometimes, I sleep in my new "bed", that is, if I'd like to cuddle up. I really think my new "bed" is a bit small for me. If you noticed from my picture, it looks like they squeezed me in.

I don't think I fit in there when I try to sleep on my side. It doesn't matter anyway. I don't normally sleep in there because I still prefer sleeping on the cool floor or on the soft couch. A basket is a good toy chest though...

Meeting New "Friends"

I don't get a lot of visitors, so I'm not used to having friends over. I bark angrily at other dogs, cats and birds when they cross over my territory, so how can I have friends? I make exceptions when cute little puppies come over. I'm really not sure whether they are puppies or plush toys but one thing is for sure, they as cute as me.

Here's a puppy shih tzu. It's so tiny, I'm not sure we can play together because he doesn't move much. Kim thinks these puppies are cute. She really enjoyed this one. She kept carrying him and had him lie down on her lap.

Puppy visitors come and go. I only get to see them once or twice and that's it. They're gone forever. Wonder where they go to...
