Attached To A Toy... Again

My red woolly toy mysteriously disappeared. I have a strong feeling that they throw it out because it was so dirty and torn up already. Anyway, I'm happy that they bought a replacement before they threw it away.

This is my new squeaky toy. I don't know what's with me and squeaky toys but just like my previous one, I quickly become attached to this one as well.

I bringt it everywhere with me and it never leaves my side. I even sleep with it at night.

Free Samples

Have you ever tried signing up for free samples? Samples are a good way for us to taste and test out new products.

I got a sample from Walmart. The box is big and it smells yummy!

What's inside? It's a packet of Purina One SmartBlend Dog Food in Lamb & Rice Formula.

I really want to eat the whole pack but I can't open it.

Since I cannot eat ordinary dog food because I cannot have a diet high in protein (or else I get sick), Jennifer mixes a bit of this yummy Purina in my bowl of Royal Canine food. I really like when she mixes this in because it's so yummy. It has bits of soft and chewy meat inside.

Attached to a Toy

Kim bought me a new toy! No matter how old I am, I still like toys!

At first Kim thought I wouldn't like the toy she got me because all my toys are plush. I've got a lot of plush toys already, so Kim decided I should try playing with something new.

She got me this long red wooly dog that squeaks at the head and tail.

I don't know how to make it squeak by myself, so, the first few days of playing it, I'd whimper all around the house with the toy in my mouth because I can't get it to squeak. All that crying made Kim regret of getting me the toy.

Now, who would have known I'd get attached to it. I have never gotten attached to anything in my life. Sure, I'd bring around a new toy for a couple of hours from receiving it, but I don't get attached to it not more than a day.

I bring it with me to bed...

I still have it with me when I wake up in the morning...

I play with it the whole day...

And I still play with it when it's night.

I bring my new toy everywhere with me!

Valentine's Day

For this year's Valentine's Day, I had set up a kissing booth outside.

Sadly, no one came...

Sitting in my booth all day made me sleepy...

Grass Hopper

I'm a bit ashamed to admit this, but, since moving here in Hawaii, it's my first time to actually see what grass is. So, it's also my first time to actually step on the grass.

The first time I set paws on the grass felt weird. It felt funny and it tickles my paws. I walked so weird that people passing by gave me a curious look. At this first experience, I decided to avoid the grass patches on the streets.

After constantly being forced to walk to the grass, I have come to be okay with the feeling of those tiny green leaves in between my paws. I'm not tickled by it anymore.

Now, I like walking on grass, but the soil makes my paws dirty. I hate those tall uncut grass that slams on my face whenever I walk pass through them. I just run quickly and close my eyes.

Who's Bad?

This is what happens if I become a bad girl...

Please don't buy me.

Waikiki

Hello, or should I say "Aloha!"

Here I am waiting for the sunset at beautiful Waikiki Beach. I had a lot of fun strolling along the busy sidewalk. A lot of people gave me a compliment. They say I am cute and fluffy.

I am resting on a bench. I get tired easily because I am not used to long walks.

A girl liked me so much, she asked if she can pet me. I wish Jennifer or Kimberly disagreed because she grab my fur and kept saying "You're so fluffy!" in my face.

My fur grew really fluffy, maybe because of the change of climate. The fluffier I am, the more people think I am cute. So, I like being fluffy.

After a long evening, we went home. I was soooooo tired, so was knocked out fast.

Aloha!

Aloha! I have now relocated to paradise. I now live in Hawaii.

On December, my family brought me to Hawaii. The experience was terrifying but the outcome is great! It all started on December 15th...

Everyone have their luggage packed but no one is bothering me. I thought they're going somewhere and were leaving me behind because they are not bothering me. I guess they were just busy. Or, they just don't want to let me know that we are going somewhere. You see, I get pretty excited when I know I'm going out. So excited that I become uncontrollable.

Thinking back, now I know why they bought me a new crate. I thought they want to punish me by locking me up in there. Anyway, back to my story...

They made me eat my lunch and go potty before leaving. They packed up all my clothes and toys. Then, Mommy told me we're leaving! We got in the car and drove to the airport.

They forgot to pack my leash with them so at the airport, a little fluffy dog went wild and crazy! When they chase me down and caught me, they made me sit on top of my crate so I won't go running wild again.

As irresistible as I am, a lot of tourists find me cute. A couple of girls came and play with me. Actually, they love me so much that one of the girls wouldn't let go of me. They thought I look like a plush toy. It hurt when she grab onto my paw when her mommy called her to leave.

After this is the most terrifying moment, they left me. My family left me there inside the crate. I kept crying and whimpering because I was very scared.

After 10 boring hours of sleeping through the flight, I woke up and saw my family again.

Quarantine at the Honolulu airport was easy breezy because Darlene and Kim made sure they followed all the requirements.

After that, we went to my new home next. At first I wasn't used to the new surrounding. But now that I have settled in, I'm loving it here.

I'm so happy this long trip turned out to be a very happy ending. I love Hawaii. I just haven't gone to the beach yet. Maybe next time...

High Five! I Turn 5!

Happy Birthday to me! I turn 5 years old this year.

Lazy Sunday Morning

Good morning!

I sometimes like to sleep in. I just want to lie down on a bed all day and be wrapped up in pillows and blanket.

But, as much as I would like to spend my entire day lying down like this, nature calls and ruin this moment. I have to go and pee.

Going Somewhere

Vroooooom!!!! Vrooooom!!!

Where do you want to go?

Now that I finally get to test out the driver's seat, it's clear to me that I cannot take you any where. I am too small to reach the pedals.

Instead... I found a new job! I'm on guard dog duty. See my serious face? Do not mess with me!

Darlene stepped out for a second so she made me in charge of the car.

Eyes on the Prize

Another shameful shot of me...

I always do this. I always ask for food from whoever's eating.

Over here, Darlene is eating a piece of cake. I don't know what's gotten into me. I have never even tasted cake before but I can't help myself from not asking for a bite. The smell is too good to pass.

Darlene is the best when it comes to bot giving me table food. No... She doesn't give me any food, she accidentally drops them! I have eaten a few bites of yummy potato chips because of her. I love Darlene!

Even though this cake is within my reach, I won't grab it and eat it. I do have table manners. I just sit and wait and hope they'd hand me some food.

What's for Lunch?

I love the refrigerator! It's cold and there's so many food! If I can squeeze inside, I would.

Whenever someone opens the refrigerator, I also like to look inside with them. I don't know what kind of food they are looking for. Me? I'm just trying to sniff out my treats. They keep all my yummy treats there. From dog biscuits to dentastix to my heartworm medication, it's all in there. They keep it there because it keeps those pesky ants away. If they left my food outside then the ants would be the first one to eat those. I don't like sharing, especially with ants.

My only problem is that I'm too small to reach anything...

Me, You and My Friend Blue

Meet my latest addition to my toy collection - Blue. Since I do not watch TV, I do not who who this Blue dog is.

What I love to do with Blue is grab him my his ear and wrestle him.

Here I am hanging out with Blue. I think he's imitating me.

Under Wraps

The weather here is cooler than usual because of all the monsoon rain this rainy season is bringing.

Here's a nice way to keep warm on a chilly day... wrap yourself up.

It sure does feel warm and cozy under these wraps...

The problem with being wrapped up is that all my legs are under here and I cannot move.

I wonder how am I going to get off the couch now...

Rainy Days

We have a typhoon for the past 3 days and I know that it's a bad weather but I'm loving it! I love how cold it is and how strong the wind blows. Cold weather like this makes me just want to snuggle up and sleep.

I really can sleep all day if no one disturbed me.

This weather also makes me lazy. Sometimes, I'm so lazy that I'd skip eating my meal. I just want to lie down...

Road Trip

Well, it isn't exactly a road trip but I got to go out with Darlene. It's just me and Darlene today...

Here's me being a good girl in the passenger seat. Darlene scolds me when I move a lot so I have to sit still.

I also like to look out the window. I can't see a thing when I'm seated on the chair, so I have to stand up to reach the window.

When there's nothing much to see, especially when it's traffic, I just take a nap.

Johnson Baby

Bath time for me again. When the weather is cold, I take a bath in the shower where they would use hot water on me. Don't worry, the water is not too hot, it's just warm enough so that I won't catch a cold.

You guys might be wondering how I get my super soft and lustrous fur... Well, I get it from my special shampoo. I say "special" because it's not really for dogs to use. I use Johnson's No More Tangles Shampoo, it's the blue one.

Why do I prefer to use the No More Tangles one? Well, it's because it's the one made for thick fur... I mean hair. I'm just kidding, I use this shampoo because it's 2-in-1. It has conditioner in it. The conditioner helps my fur dry faster and it's also what makes it so soft.

Since I have been using this shampoo for 4 years now, I do not smell like an ordinary dog anymore. I smell like a baby! The scent of the shampoo is how I smell. My neighbors always compliment on how good I smell. I'm the dog known in my neighborhood as the cleanest dog on the block.

Recently, Kim decided to change things up and test out Johnson's Baby Shampoo with Natural Lavender. This one doesn't have any extra conditioning in it. Everyone loves the smell of lavender so they say I smell so good.

Because lavender has a natural calming effect, I feel so calm and sleepy after a bath... No... I'm joking. The calming effect doesn't work on me!

The Waiting Area

Waiting for my turn at the vet can feel like forever. Darlene always make sure that we go there early, but, there are always other people who are earlier.

It's always fun to see the other dogs, especially the small breed ones, shake in fear while waiting at the waiting area. Sadly, I am one of those cowardly dogs.

This time, I decided talk about the other dogs I see at the vet's clinic. It's fun to watch them...

Can you believe this big guy won't stop whimpering. He's crying and barking so bad that his Mommy and Daddy had to calm him down.

This guy is a tough one. I can see in his eyes (and ears) that he isn't scared at all. He's just sitting there waiting for his turn. I wonder what the vet will do to him, he looks healthy.

This poor girl is locked up inside her crate. Seems to me, she isn't feeling well. Her eyes are sad and droopy.  Let's just hope they won't ask to leave her there overnight.

I'm pretty sure this guy eats a lot of dog food, look at his size! Let's be thankful he isn't hungry or else he might eat all those food displayed behind him.

This guy is so big that he can easily pull his handler. I hope his owner is holding his leash tight, I don't want Kim to freak out when this guy gets loose.

Oops... The vet is calling my name, it's my turn now. Got to go!
