COCOnut

When I got sick, my doctor told me to drink coconut juice. I'm allowed to drink half a cup of it.

Kim's favorite drink is ice cold coconut. She used to have it almost everyday. She'd freeze the coconut juice she bought then drink it when it's already frozen. Kim's favorite drink became MY favorite as well!

If you look at the picture closely, you'd see that my coconut juice is icy. Drinking warm coconut juice just doesn't taste good, it makes me think I'm drinking plain water. These ice cold coconut is a real treat for me. They used to give me only the juice. But now, they include some coconut bits inside.

Coconuts help me cool down on a hot summer day. After I empty my bowl, I'd feel so refreshed. My mouth is so cold. It's funny when I poke someone's leg with my cold mouth, they'd get so surprised that they jump.

I love coconuts! Coconuts drives Coco nuts.

A word of advice, if you give your dogs coconut juice, expect them to pee a lot. I'd pee so many times after a bowl of juice. It really helps if your dog knows how to go pee by themselves like I do.

Shedding My Fur Coat

I'm the breed of dog that sheds their fur during different seasons of the year. Shedding doesn't really bothers me, but it bothers my family. Whenever I shed, strands of fur are spread all over the house. The floor are covered with tiny fur balls. I try to help them clean my fur up by eating them. But what I thought is helping is cannibalism for them. They told me not to eat "Coco", so I stopped. Fur balls caught up in my throat is NOT a good feeling anyway.

Here's a before and after shot of me.

The 'before' shot was taken last December. It was colder then so my fur grew thick. It was so thick that it made me look fat. Look at the "fold" of fur on my neck!

When my fur is thick, they really like it. I get more neck scratches because they think I'm cute. They also like grabbing my soft fur.

When summer is near, I'd shed most of fur so I can survive the summer heat. So, from that furry dog, I'd turn in a.... chubby dog. If you look at the 'after' picture, my fur is a less than before. I'm not that furry anymore. So, to make me still look cute, I make myself chubby. I'm much more hug-able when I'm chubby. The downside of being chubby is, you'd get a lot of nicknames... I'm being called "Chubster" among many other names.

I don't mind whether I'm furry or chubby. How about you, which look do you prefer?

This Is How I ROLL

I'm a talented dog... Well... so I think I am. I never showed you videos of me doing my tricks. Here's a first one. This is how I do my "roll over" trick.

I'd gladly answer any tips or advice you want in teaching your pet to do the same trick. Just make sure your pet is also a dog, I don't know how cats think. And make sure your dog isn't too old, because, as the saying goes, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks."
