A Trip to the Vet

The place I hate the most is the VET. I know that when I go there, they're going to do something wierd to me. They either force me to eat this tablet, or stick some needles at the back of my neck. And the worst is them sticking up something thin up my... OMG, you don't want to know where. So, that's why the moment when either Jennifer or Kimberly leave me on top of the cold stainless table, my body feels funny and my legs suddenly become jello-like. I cannot stand up straight or sit, all I can do is lean on Jen or Kim and hoping they will not leave me there.

With all the drama I experience in the Vet, I got it easy compared to the other dogs I see. Here's a patient there that really got it bad...

Can you see the one I'm talking about? The dog is being carried by the guy holding the water bottle thingy. Is he dehydrated? The needle sticking in his paw looks like it hurts a lot, because the dog does not move his paw even for an inch.

Lucky for him, he's going home. So, these dogs probably got it worst...

Can you see my head in the pic? I took a peek at those poor (noisy) Poms. Actually, come to think about it, I see those 2 Poms on top EVERYTIME I go to the Vet.
So, being nosy, I found out those 2 Poms are the pet of the owner of the Vet. Wow! Thier lives must suck! They got the doctor as their master. Maybe that explains their non-stop loud barking, that's the room where they live.
The tiny Pom beneath them is a sick patient. Poor tiny Pompom.

I'm NOT Loving It

This is a rare moment. Me, sitting of the lap of McDonald's. This was taken a few weeks back, obviously before my fur cut.

Ronald doesn't seem to want children (and pets) sitting on his lap. That explains his selfish posture.

FYI, McDonald's is not a pet-friendly place since I am NOT allowed inside.

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

This past Friday, Darlene and Jennifer decided that I really needed a fur-cut, so they brought me the the place I hate the most - The Vet. The vet I go to also offer dog grooming, and I've been groomed there for a couple of times, ok, 2 times to be exact. The first time I got a cut was ok. They only trimmed the fur that are going out of place. The second cut was fine by me but not okay for Mommy. The grommer didn't seem to cut much out of my fur which to me became a waste of time and money. And this was the third time for me to get groomed, and, all I can say is, I don't think I'll ever go back there, ever!

I got a horrible cut! Jennifer asked for a trim just like I always get, but, I got a whole new cut.

First of all, they switched their grooming area. It used to be near the waiting area, now, it's at the second floor. And customers don't usually get up to the second floor. So, imagine the surprise Darlene and Jennifer got when they saw me back. Jennifer wasn't even sure if it was me. I can see how bad the cut is, not because of a mirror (there was no mirror there), but because of the shocked expression in Darlene's and Jennifer's face. And when Jen tried to double check if I was really 'Coco' by calling out "Coco?? Coco??" I know that the cut was a bad one... To make matters worst, the groomer sais the most horrible line to say after a hair cut "It's okay, i'll grow back... um... quickly".

When Mommy and Kim saw me, it just proved more on how much a disaster my fur is. Kim was screaming that my baby fur was all wasted and how it will NEVER come back again. There's no use screaming now, what's done is done.

So, excuse me for not posting any photos of my new cut. I know how bad it is... it's so bad that I hid behind the couch for a couple of hours. It's so bad that they seem to hug me less nowadays. It's so bad that neighbors just say I still look cute or this cut suits me more just so they won't hurt Mommy's feelings. It's so bad that all of them just trick themselves that my fur is growing longer as the days past.

I think I'll stop posting new photos of me as of today... I'll just wait til my fur is decent enough til I'll let anyone take my picture. I hope it'll grow fast. For now, I think I'll just blog about the old times, when my fur was puffy and I look cute.

For Display Only

I don't know if other dogs live the same way as I am. But, I'm sure no one has done this to them...
There's been a couple of newly made cabinets at home and I wonder, is this what it's for?? Kim couldn't resist making fun of me. While I was locked up inside and slowly suffocating, there's Kim, laughing her pants off.

Bad Habit

When I get sleepy, I have this bad habit I do where I just lick my paws. If babies suck their thumbs, I lick my paws! I wonder why after I do this, all of them are grossed out whenever I touch them.
Licking my paws makes it smell funny. They say it smells really stinky but I say it just smells like me.

Cute and Cuddly

Here are old cute pictures of me when I was only a month old. Imagine how small I was. Look how round I was. Other people
thought I was a Chow Chow pup.

Good Night, Sleep Tight

I'm a dog that loves to sleep. With all the naps I take, I still can't stay up late at night. At around 9:30pm, I get sleepy already.

My nightly routine is, someone will bring me out back for "wee-wee". Sometimes, I hate it when they don't get that I just peed a while ago and can't wee wee anymore. When I get back inside, they'd wipe me with a wet towel. As if that will clean up my fur! But it does a got job keeping my paws clean though. Then, they'd put me on stairs and I have to wait for them to finish their routine. They usually carry me going up. I know how to go up the stairs by myself, it's just that when I go up, I get all crazy when I reach upstairs. I'd hide under beds so no one can catch me. I'd also run around really really fast. They all hate it when I do this, that's why they carry me.

That's the picture of how I sleep at night. They put me in my play pen. They're afraid I might roam around in the middle of the night while everyone's asleep.

I love my pillow. It's comfy and Mommy gave it to me.

If I can choose, I prefer to sleep like this...
Whenever someone puts me on their bed, I quickly find a nice spot to lie down. Then, I'd hurry and force myself to fall asleep on their bed. There's a slim chance they'd let me stay on the bed the whole night (especially with Kim).

That's "Hot"

This was me March of 2008. I was only 3 months old here when Jennifer decided to make me an outfit.

I think she found an instruction on how to make pets clothes on the net and decided to try it out on ME. Unlucky me...

As if it isn't hot here already. My fur is think and the hot weather makes me uncomfortable. Wearing clothes makes me even more uncomfortable. Pictures say a thousand words, and here, you can tell I am clearly unhappy of my new vest. Can't you tell that I'm sad?

Well, now, I can't even see that plaid vest anymore. Clearly, I have outgrown it. And, Jen and Kim decided to give away my old clothes to some other dog instead. But, that isn't my only clothes. As I grew bigger, Jen keeps on making me new ones, and Kim keeps on buying me other clothes. Here's me in something else....

That's a recent photo of me.
I don't move much when they wear me clothes. So, I just lie down and cry, begging someone to please take it off.

New Plan

Since I want to transfer my old blog to this new one, I've decided not only to post the link of my previous blog but re-write it here, little by little. Aside from the amazing stories, I also got a lot of cute puppy pictures I don't want to waste! Like this adorably cute picture of me sleeping.

I was only 1 month old here. I used to sleep a lot! And I would sleep anywhere that people around the house can't even find me. The pink hippo used to be my favorite toy until I bit of all 4 of it's legs off. I sure miss Hippo...

Well now, I know where the good spot to take a naps are.

That's me sleeping on a comfy couch. I don't usually sleep on the couch, I prefer sleeping on the cold floor, but, there are times when I'm too sleepy and lazy to jump off the couch. So, I fell asleep there.

Stuck On Me

I have a green rubber ring toy which I play a lot. It’s been with me for quite a long time now. I am amazed myself that up until now, it’s still a whole piece. Toys don’t usually last with me, you see. I love playing that green toy. There are times that I could not find it anywhere, but, when Kim gives it back to me, boy, am I happy!

I am starting to notice why they hide that green toy from me. Here’s a picture of me playing with it. Look at it carefully…

Can you see the green ring stuck behind my teeth? I was happily playing with it until this happened. I could not get it out. Everyone was freaking out when they saw my dilemma, I can try to pull it off with my paws or have someone help me with it.

This is the second time this has happened. The first time was last year. When Mommy saw what happened, she carried me and pry it off. It was scary since everyone around heard something. It sounded like my 2 fangs are going to come off as well. So, when Mommy saw this happening, she told everyone else to leave me alone.

I tried and tried to take it off all by myself. It’s hard to take that toy off without having any fingers you know. I jump on the couch, off the couch and back on the couch. I was getting scared myself. I could not live with a green ring stuck around my mouth.

Eventually, I was successful in removing that ring.

And if you think I’d stop playing with it, then you are wrong. I still love my green ring toy!
